About The Role

Northwest Partners is looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to support a short-term initiative focused on building and configuring Azure development environments. You will create and configure Azure VMs, provision infrastructure, set up databases, and onboard applications into the internal Azure environment. The role also involves supporting CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting environment issues and assisting with ongoing DevOps operations.

What You Will Do

• Create and configure Azure developer virtual machines based on toolsets, CPU/RAM requirements, and usage profiles
• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure for application environments
• Onboard externally developed applications into the internal Azure environment
• Configure and support associated databases for development and testing use cases
• Ensure stable, functional environments for developers to build, test, and iterate
• Support Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and assist with deployment-related activities
• Troubleshoot environment, infrastructure, and deployment issues as they arise
• Provide overflow and ad-hoc support to the existing Azure DevOps engineering team
• Assist with environment optimization, setup improvements, and operational support tasks

What You Will Bring

• 5 7+ years of hands-on Azure DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience
• Strong experience with Azure services including VMs, networking, storage, and identity
• Experience provisioning and configuring application environments in Azure
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Bicep, and/or Terraform)
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Experience onboarding applications and configuring associated databases
• Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, environments, and deployments
• Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical teams
