Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic, insight-driven Content Marketing Manager with experience in Government Contracting (GovCon) and cybersecurity compliance to join our collaborative team. This individual will help shape Sentinel Blue's industry voice by translating complex cybersecurity and regulatory topics into clear, credible thought leadership that resonates with defense contractors and the broader Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
The ideal candidate is a strong researcher and storyteller who collaborates closely with subject matter experts and leadership to develop compelling narratives around cybersecurity, compliance, and operational readiness.
Candidates should have working knowledge of CMMC 2.0, DFARS 252.204-7012, and NIST SP 800-171, and understand the challenges organizations face when protecting Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
This role is ideal for someone who can analyze regulatory developments, provide a differentiated perspective on cybersecurity and compliance topics, and translate those insights into content that builds trust and authority within the GovCon community.
This is a full-time position that is fully remote. Due to the nature of our work, you must be a U.S. citizen with eligibility for a clearance. No exceptions.
A Day in the Life of a Content Marketing Manager Role: A typical day involves researching developments across the CMMC ecosystem, DoD cybersecurity policy, and the broader GovCon cybersecurity landscape, identifying opportunities where Sentinel Blue can provide an authoritative and differentiated perspective. The role includes developing thought leadership content, collaborating with subject matter experts such as assessors and engineers, and translating technical insights into compelling narratives delivered through modern, highly consumable formats including written, video, and audio content. Working closely with marketing leadership and collaborating with subject matter experts across the organization, the Content Marketing Manager helps shape editorial priorities and develop content that reinforces Sentinel Blue's role as a trusted advisor helping contractors strengthen cybersecurity maturity and confidently navigate compliance.
