The position is not remote and requires the successful candidate to be based at our office, ensuring a hands-on approach to managing our patient-centric dental practice.

The role of Dental Office Manager is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our practice. This position calls for a driven and organized individual who can oversee the daily operations of our dental office, implement strategic initiatives, and maintain our high standards of patient care. The right candidate will lead our team, manage our office systems, and contribute to a welcoming and professional environment for our patients and staff.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the dental office to ensure smooth workflows and efficient patient care.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, patient records, and office communication to optimize operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Handle financial transactions including billing, budgets, and procurement while ensuring the financial health of the practice.
  • Lead, train, and develop the dental office team while fostering a professional and positive work environment.
  • Implement and maintain compliance with dental industry regulations and office policies to ensure safety and legal compliance at all times.
  • Liaise with dental professionals and support staff to facilitate comprehensive patient care and office harmony.
  • Develop marketing strategies and oversee public relations and outreach efforts to enhance the practice's visibility and patient base.
  • Manage patient complaints and concerns with the utmost professionalism and patience, ensuring all issues are resolved effectively.
  • Ensure the maintenance and functionality of dental technology and office equipment, liaising with vendors and technicians as needed.
  • Evaluate office procedures and practices, recommending and implementing improvements for enhanced operations and patient service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Dental Office Manager or similar administrative management role in a dental or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Detailed knowledge of dental office procedures and patient care management.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of a busy dental practice.
  • High proficiency in computer systems and software, ideally with experience in using Open Dental software.
  • Understanding of dental regulations, compliance issues, and the importance of maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to handle financial and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Marketing skills to effectively promote the dental practice and enhance its public image and patient base.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Hours: Modified Work Week

  • 7:30 am -5:30 pm Monday
  • 7:30 am -5:30 pm Tuesday
  • 7:30 am -5:30 pm Wednesday
  • 7:30 am -5:30 pm Thursday
  • 8:00 am-12:00 pm Alternating Fridays
