Akkodis is seeking an ETL Developer for a Contract with a client in Quincy, MA. This role requires strong expertise in IBM DataStage and SQL while developing and optimizing ETL workflows to support data warehouse operations .
Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
ETL Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using IBM DataStage to support enterprise data integration needs.
Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading across multiple systems.
Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into scalable ETL solutions.
Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and reliability of data pipelines.
Enhance and optimize existing ETL processes to improve performance and reduce processing time.
Support data warehouse operations by managing data transformations, scheduling jobs, and ensuring successful batch executions.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
6–8 years of hands‑on experience in ETL development and data warehousing.
Strong, proven expertise in IBM DataStage for building and managing ETL pipelines.
Advanced proficiency in SQL/PL‑SQL for complex data transformations and performance optimization.
