Job Description
1. Automaker Relationship Development
Proactively reach out to and deeply manage relationships with key decision-makers (Marketing Directors, Regional GMs, Overseas Marketing Heads, etc.) of Chinese automotive brands in Thailand, building trust and long-term partnerships.
Identify clients' integrated marketing needs in Thailand (new car launches, brand building, test drive events, dealer enablement, localized content, etc.) and convert them into business opportunities.
2. Integrated Marketing Strategy Input
Provide integrated marketing playbooks (including media mix, KOL/KOC, offline events, car owner communities, PR stunts, etc.) tailored to the Thailand market, based on the characteristics of Chinese automotive brands going global.
Collaborate with internal strategy/creative teams to drive the process from relationship-building to proposal submission.
3. Market Intelligence & Resource Integration
Gather competitive intelligence on Thailand's automotive industry, media landscape, policy updates, and cultural sensitivities, and feed insights back to clients and internal teams.
Identify and liaise with high-quality local Thai vendors (production houses, media agencies, influencer agencies, auto media, etc.) to build an executable resource library.
4. 0-to-1 Business Launch
Lead commercial negotiations, contract processing, and initial delivery coordination for the first/reference project.
Provide recommendations for building out a local team (hiring, workflows, client management SOPs).
Must-Haves
Languages: one of the following combinations
- Chinese + English (fluent business communication)
- Chinese + Thai (proficient in listening, speaking, reading, and writing)
- Chinese + Thai + English
Client resources: Direct, accessible contacts with key market or procurement decision-makers of at least 1–2 Chinese automotive brands going global (BYD, Chery, GWM, Geely, Changan, SAIC, etc.) in Thailand/Southeast Asia — or proven ability to quickly break into this circle with strong credentials.
Industry experience:
3+ years of experience in automotive marketing/PR/agency roles, with a solid understanding of automakers' internal decision-making processes.
Clear knowledge of common integrated marketing approaches and pain points for Chinese brands in overseas markets (e.g., localization adaptation, reputation management, dealer coordination, etc.).
Soft skills: Strong business development and ice-breaking abilities; comfortable working from scratch under pressure; result-oriented; willing to travel frequently.
Nice-to-Haves
Previous experience living/working in Thailand, with deep understanding of Thai culture and consumer psychology.
Ability to present in English or Thai.
Experience in NEV (new energy vehicle) / EV marketing campaigns.
