Dependable Health Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Medical Social Worker (MSW) to join our team on a part-time basis in the Nogales area. In this vital role, you will provide psychosocial support, advocacy, and guidance to hospice patients and their families during end-of-life care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families

  • Provide emotional support, grief counseling, and crisis intervention

  • Assist with advance directives and education on patient rights

  • Connect families with community resources

  • Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

Education

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program 

Experience

  • Minimum one (1) year of healthcare experience preferred 

  • Hospice or home health experience preferred

Requirements

  • Knowledge of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Current Arizona social work licensure

  • Valid driver’s license with reliable, insured transportation
