Setting: Outpatient Primary Care Clinic

A healthcare facility in Pendleton, Oregon is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine preferred) for a locum tenens assignment of 9 12 months . This is a full-time outpatient role providing comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a well-supported clinical environment.

• Provide primary care services for patients (primarily adults, occasional adolescents)
• Manage an average of 17 20 patients per day
• Deliver full-spectrum outpatient care including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management
• Perform basic primary care procedures as needed
• Occasional procedures may include circumcisions
• Maintain continuity of care across a stable weekday schedule

• Monday Friday coverage required (Tuesday Friday clinical schedule specified)
• Hours: 7:30 AM 5:30 PM
• Must provide consistent full-time coverage for the duration of assignment
• No weekend coverage required
• No on-call responsibilities

• Outpatient primary care clinic
• Supported by:
  • 1 Medical Assistant
  • Receptionist
  • Clinic RN (as needed)
• EMR: eClinicalWorks
• Collaborative and stable clinic structure

• Hourly rate: $200 $220/hour
• Orientation/training: $100 $110/hour (after 8 hours)
• Holiday rate: $300 $330/hour
• Malpractice coverage included in pay
• Travel support included:
  • Airfare up to $750 (economy)
  • Lodging per GSA guidelines (up to 1.5x)
  • Rental car up to $65/day
  • Mileage reimbursed per IRS rate

• Board Certified in Family Medicine (preferred) or truly Board Eligible
• Active Oregon medical license required
• BLS certification (can be obtained during credentialing)
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Must be available for full-time weekday coverage (Tuesday Friday consistency required)
