Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Psychiatric care provides comprehensive nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients within a therapeutic environment. This role includes supporting patients' mental health needs, assigning and directing subordinate nursing personnel, and ensuring adherence to treatment plans. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential to collaborate effectively with patients and the interdisciplinary team. The position requires current RN licensure and a background in psychiatric nursing.

Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited college or university with a degree in Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Montana.
• Knowledge of nursing, medications, treatment planning, and psychopharmacology.
• Ability to perform accurate patient assessments and maintain appropriate documentation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in using patient care information technology systems.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience working in psychiatric inpatient treatment programs.

Special Considerations:

• Shift differential may be available.
• One meal provided per shift.
• Work involves maintaining a safe and therapeutic psychiatric environment.

Scheduling:

• Shift work as assigned, with possible day, evening, or night rotations.
