Description:
Looking for a full stack developer supporting a backend development team focused on middleware and backend services.
Requirements
Mandatory Skills
1. Intermediate to Expert level experience in Solr or Elastic Search (minimum 3 years)
a. Performing schema updates
b. Possessing significant knowledge & experience in submitting Lucene queries
c. Possessing significant knowledge & experience on how Solr/Elastic shards work
d. Possessing significant experience tuning Solr/Elastic for performance and query optimization
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a big data environment using tools such as Hadoop, Pyspark, Spark, and Hbase (prefer at least two of the list)
3. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on, back-end Java development experience (not Javascript or Springboot) implementing code that undergoes code reviews, unit testing, integration testing and deployed to a production environment
4. College degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
Optional Skills
• Demonstrated experience working with several AWS services.
• Demonstrated experience with JIRA and GITHUB.
