Job Description

MEMCO Atlanta is hiring for Skilled Swing Stage Scaffolders in the Metro Atlanta area!

  • Schedule: Mon - Fri; 6:30am start time; OT available
  • Pay: $20 - $25/hr; BOE

Job Overview :

As a Skilled Swing Stage Erector , you’ll assemble and dismantle scaffolding systems for commercial projects, ensuring worker safety and scaffold stability. Your role is critical in providing secure platforms for construction teams to work efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assemble and dismantle scaffolding based on blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations
  • Inspect and maintain scaffold components, addressing defects or hazards promptly
  • Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines, proactively mitigating risks
  • Coordinate with crews and supervisors to meet project deadlines
  • Troubleshoot scaffold issues and adapt to changing project needs
  • Maintain accurate records of scaffold work and inspections.

Qualifications :

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • A pre-employment drug screen will be required for this position.
  • Must provide your own harness
  • Experience in scaffold assembly, particularly in commercial or industrial projects
  • Experience with swing stage assembly
  • Knowledge of scaffold components and safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Preferred : Certifications such as OSHA 10/30 or Scaffold Builder Certification.

Working Conditions :

  • Work outdoors at heights and in various weather conditions
  • Requires lifting, bending, and confined space work
  • PPE (helmets, harnesses, goggles) required
  • Irregular hours and overtime may be necessary to meet deadlines.
