The Mammography Technologist will work within a forward-thinking organization recognized for patient safety and experience, continuous quality excellence, and community trust, with cutting-edge breast imaging technology including 3D digital breast tomosynthesis, contrast-enhanced mammography, and AI-enabled workflows. The Mammography Technologist will contribute within a comprehensive Imaging Department that supports a designated Stroke Center, an advanced Cardiac Center, and a robust Oncology program known for multidisciplinary collaboration. The Mammography Technologist will be integrated with breast surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, and radiologists, with access to stereotactic biopsy suites, compassionate patient navigation, and coordinated care pathways for both screening and diagnostic breast imaging.
The Mammography Technologist will report to the Imaging Manager and Breast Imaging Supervisor, with strong support from board-certified radiologists, friendly nurses, dedicated nurse navigators, and a diverse team of technologists across CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Interventional Radiology. The Mammography Technologist will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography, 2D/3D tomosynthesis, assist with image-guided procedures and localizations, uphold MQSA and ACR quality standards, champion patient education and comfort, contribute to continuous improvement, and collaborate closely with scheduling, registration, and PACS teams.
